The MKN roadway brush is designed to clean streets, roads, and large concrete or asphalt surfaces.

It's most efficient for cleaning accumulated spreading material from roadways and along curbstones after the winter period, as well as cleaning the remaining asphalt after the old asphalt layer has been broken, before a new layer has been laid, and before the horizontal traffic signals have been painted.

The drive of the roadway brush can be mechanical, supplied by the vehicle via PTO joint, or hydraulic, depending on the type and capabilities of the vehicle.

The standard version of the brush is delivered with a hydraulic cylinder used for swiveling, and a universal mounting plate with a hydraulic cylinder which lifts or lowers the brush.

The MKN roadway brush is produced using the modular principle, which means it is possible to connect an additional module onto the standard version od the brush. Available modules are:

• container for collection of swept materials;
• side brush;
• sprinkling system with water tank mounted onto the brush, or;
• sprinkling system with water tank mounted onto the vehicle (UNIMOG)
